About the Role

Are you an exceptional bookkeeper who is looking to be part of a thriving residential lettings business where your input and contribution will be truly valued?

We are working with a long-established independent estate agency who is looking for a confident and organised individual with at least 1 years’ experience in residential lettings accounting who thrives in a busy environment to join a Lettings Accounts Manager.

  • £30,000 + Loads of benefits
  • Monday - Friday (9-5 or 8.30-4.30)

As the Lettings Accounts Manager you will be responsible for all lettings accounting duties, including however not limited too

  • Managing client and tenant monies and allocating of funds received
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Managing the banking facility
  • Managing the rent collection
  • Maintaining the cashbook excel spreadsheet
  • Generate weekly payment runs to clients and suppliers
  • Registering the tenant deposits
  • Reconciling tenant deposit returns
  • Generate monthly management reports
  • Manage the overseas Landlord tax requirements
  • Responsible for processing and paying invoices onto the system daily/weekly
  • Prepare appropriate schedules and reports as requested by Directors and Accountants
  • Assist accountants with annual audit
  • Handling any client or tenant queries via telephone, email or face to face

To be considered for the Lettings Accounts Manager opportunity you will need to have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in lettings accounts and bookkeeping, have strong IT skills, confident with Excel, highly numerate and have the ability to work under pressure whilst also providing a high level of customer service. AAT or similar qualification is preferred however not essential.
